The ILTS Congress connects the world of liver transplantation and we are proud of its reputation for the quality of science and its strong multi-disciplinary approach. The safety and safety of our attendees is our priority so due to the COVID-19 pandemic the 2021 edition will be virtual only.

2020 was a disruptive year – but with disruption also comes opportunity. We look forward to reaching a much larger audience than for our in-person Congress and welcoming attendees from more countries around the world than ever before. Time and money are the main reasons for not attending in-person events. Therefore, we look forward to welcoming back past attendees of the ILTS Congress and those who are new to ILTS and new to the Congress who may not have been able to participate in previous editions. We expect more engagement during sessions – virtual attendees have been shown to ask more questions which can lead to a very productive Question-and-Answer session after presentations. Much thought is being given to the programming of the Congress to meet the needs of a virtual audience – and those of our sponsors.

Participating in ILTS 2021 Virtual Congress allows you to support high-quality education and facilitate interaction among the liver transplantation community. It will enable us to reflect on the past year’s challenges and look into the future. We thank you in advance for your support at this difficult time and look forward to seeing you online in May 2021.
