Prof. Dr. Refik Killi, M.D. was born in 1959 in İzmir/TURKEY.He got his medical degree at the İstanbul University İstanbul Medical School, İSTANBUL.

He got his residency in radiology and his titles in the Ege University Medical School, İzmir.

He is married and has one daughter.

He had his color Doppler and interventional ultrasound training in Herlev hospital / Denmark under Prof. Dr. Hans Henrik Holm’s supervision.

In 1994 he started the ultrasound examinations in the liver transplantation program in Ege University Medical School, İzmir. Till then he performed the highest number of ultrasound examinations in liver transplant program.

In 2000 he was appointed as the Professor in Radiology.

In 2005 he moved to İstanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital with the liver transplant team. He performed ultrasonography more than 1000 liver transplants.

He published 2 books and more than 50 articles in wide known journals.

He is currently working as the director of radiology in Florence Nightingale Hospital, İSTANBUL/TURKEY.
