Timucin Taner, MD, PhD

Dr. Taner is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Consultant in Immunology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. He is the surgical director of liver transplantation of both the adult and pediatric programs at the same institution. His clinical practice involves liver transplantation and living donor hepatectomies.

 

His research focuses on liver transplant immunobiology. He is a member of the AASLD Surgery and Liver Transplantation Committee, and currently serves as the chair of the Liver Transplantation SIG Education Subcommittee.

 

He is a member of the ILTS Basic and Translational Science Committee.
